WEIMA was created in 2002 by Jason Lu, and has quickly grown to be a world leading manufacturer of industrial machine knives, known internationally for high quality, reliability and exceptional service levels. In 2018, WEIMA received significant investment from WEIMA Group, who increased manufacturing capabilities, reducing prices and allowing WEIMA to help service more customers on a global scale.
WEIMA was born in the centre of the Steel City, the home of Stainless Steel, Maanshan. WEIMA continues to operate here in a custom-built facility, which they moved to in 2017.
